1996
This is a big year for me.. well, for my school team, we won all major tournament. Half of under 18 team was from 1997 batch. and also, this year, i was selected for national junior u-19 team for the ARFU u-19 tournament at Hong Kong.
And this year also created his own history...On 22nd September 1996 @ around 6.00pm, our dearest teammate, my next-table classmate, Allahyarham Faizal @ Oja, passed away peacefully at his house in Jerantut. We got the news around 9pm when Raja Idris called up all of our rugby player teammates gathered in a dorm at Block A hostel. Most of us crying....and me? I dont know why...I just cant believe it...no tears from my eyes... I just cant believe it...
Al-Fatihah... may God bless you...

My Brother now KAPITAN!
6 September 2007
My bro - Khairul Amri Chamili is now a Captain. Just graduated from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) dulunya ATMA. Nice experience to watch their upacara pentauliahan at Sg. Besi. Lots of people...early in the morning the whole family came for that ceremony. my parents came down all the way from Muar.
First time ever, I watch with my own eyes, my dad was crying... he really proud with his second hero. well, there are only two hero in my family: me and my bro.
The best part of my bro was: he was the OVERALL BEST CADET on that day. received Piala Seri Perkasa and Sword from Agong.
For me? I'm really proud with my bro... wishing you best of luck in future!

Chapter 1: The Rugby History of Me : Part 3
1995
- this is the year to remember. early in february, when we were training for the SEMSAS 7's tournament. i remember this name: SIAM, i dont know who is he. sitting together with RAJA IDRIS at the grandstand's stairs, watching us training. in a teamtalk after training, straight away he critics our team - as he said - a team with no attitude, no talented players, no future!.... who ever is he, we felt really humiliated with what this 'came-from-no-where' guy said.
we went to SEMSAS 7's and we lost all games...kena belasah. hahaha
later, i heard rumours that RAJA IDRIS is going to sacrifice our team and create a new target team - form 2 boys. what a plan...
SEMSAS 7's was the only defeat. since that, our batch never loss in any tournament and also in every single game we played. we won the KRM-MILO-MSMM U15 tournament for the first time for SMSS. we proud with it! until the day i post this chapter, still, we are the only batch of SMSS that won the tournament!
and this year, RAJA IDRIS made a very drastic decision to put me as a 2nd scrum-half (1st scrum-half was ARAFAT) for the U-18 KL team for the MSSM U-18 tournament in Terengganu. we won 3rd placing in Terengganu. that was a fantastic experience to me that create me to a much more matured rugby player.
thanks to my best ever coach...RAJA IDRIS RAJA ALI...

Chapter 1: The Rugby History of Me : Part 2
1994
- it was all started when this fellow; Rusmaini Muslim, a Malaccan boy, my tough room-mate asking me to play rugby. never in my mind to play rugby...i was so, so, so, small to play that rough game. maybe i was around 150cm at that time - very small for a form 2 boy huh! yup, and for the sake of friendship, i just follow him to the field and join the other kids playing that weird game.. i really dont have any idea of what was i doing there in the field.
then, this is the year where my rugby career was all started. RAJA IDRIS, my best coach forever spotted me on the field. i cant remember when...maybe around april, or may, or june... i was selected to be part of senior team. wow! how can i've been selected for senior U-18 team...? well, not for playing, but to be their MASCOTT! hahaha... so called BALACHI... to prepare their drinks on training session, collect all jerseys for tournaments..bla..bla..bla...
that was the time where i started to mix around with senior 'citizens'... i mean people older than me.. (i mixed a lot with this kind of people in my life...until now!). it was a great experience where i learnt lots of thing about rugby... that MASCOTT thing made me really get into this game..RUGBY. i learn lots of skills, tacticals, technics and the attitude of rugby players from my seniors.
this year my form 2 team started our training... from zero to sumthing...

Chapter 1: Part 1: The Rugby History of Me
1993
- I was registered with the Malaysia Rugby Institution: SM Sains Selangor, Kuala Lumpur. An institution that thought me about life. An opportunity given by the Malaysian government for a local 'anak kampung' from Kg Sg Sudah Laut, Muar, Johor to have his further education after UPSR. I was in the last intake. the fourth intake if i'm not mistaken. Together with my friend, Syed Mohd Hatta we've been entered the class of 1 Jaya - pendekarian!
hmm...never dream of being study in SBP (Boarding School). My only dream there is to success. To be a somebody and to play Badminton! But its too bad in SMSS...nobody there playing badminton seriously. No record of champion to be proud of badminton history in SMSS. there is only one sport to RULE other sports...RUGBY! A good try from cikgu Mohar to create his Hockey 'Tiger Team'... but yet, Rugby is still the champion with its Glorious Record at all level!
and this year... i've just been a supporter for school rugby team..

Chapter 1 : A new beginning
This is the first time in my life to know what blog is all about. Really not-so-update on this internet services! well, then i decided to use this medium to splash all my ideas, feeling, thought about my most lovely sport - RUGBY!
Why do i do this? There are some reasons:
1. My Passion
I do love this sport. A game that thought me about life, friendship, think sharp, attitude...etc
2. The Environment 1
Rugby in Malaysia is getting more and more exciting - in terms of participation
of youngsters. There are more people playing rugby now compare to my school time back in 1993-1997. There are more talented players now and the interesting part is most
of rugby players now are more educated. Well, from my experience, i think, in any games, 'better player is a player with brain'.
3. The Environment 2
As I said, rugby in Malaysia is getting more and more exciting. But, the sad part
is community in Malaysia is not yet supportive enough. Yet, our Union, Malaysia
Rugby Union did not much contribute to make this sport a favorite game in Malaysia. Is
it impossible? I dont think so...
Along the way in my life, i will try my best to find my free time to write more. Hopefully, we can share our passion, ideas, thought in this holy blog for only 1 reason - TOWARDS BETTER RUGBY IN MALAYSIA! One cheers for rugby, Hiii!
